You want to spend your incarnation doing something useful, something positive, something that serves you and helps others.

It’s so easy to waste time. The world around you is designed to make you waste time — in a million little ways. I call this time we’re living in The Great Distractification.

But here’s the truth: anything that’s distracting you can wait. Everything can wait except your soul mission.

Any other urgency is fake. Because there is nothing more urgent than the crystallization of your own consciousness.

Which brings us to conditioning.

What are you automatically assuming is the right way — the best way — that actually isn’t?

And we do that by asking better questions. By questioning everything

What loops are playing out in your life?
What have authorities told you, past or present, that you still believe without question?
What beliefs are running on autopilot?

The task is to take yourself from automated to aware.

Questioning your automatic thought patterns.
Questioning your automatic behaviors.
Questioning all of it.

Wake up. Snap out of it. Don’t skate along the surface — go deep.

Ask yourself: what beliefs are you carrying that, in another context, would make no sense at all? Right now, you’re holding at least five of them.

So here are questions you can start with:

How do I see myself in this situation?
How would I actually like to feel right now?
How should I show up and behave if I want to feel like that?
What’s stopping me from seeing myself the way I’d like to?
What’s stopping me from behaving the way I’d like to?
What’s stopping me from feeling the way I’d like to?

When it comes to challenging your thought patterns, I love Byron Katie’s four questions:

What is the new story I want to live?
What do I choose?
What am I ready to create?
What is ready to be birthed through me?
What intentions, visions, and prayers am I initiating?

Is this true?
Can I absolutely know that it’s true?
How do I react when I believe that thought?
Who would I be without it?

This is the practice. Asking questions that break the hypnosis. Moving from automatic to aware.

So ask them.
