The Wisdom of the Spiral
(Embodiment Practice):

Sit up tall and take 3 deep breaths.

Then move into the wisdom of the spiral — Kairos, soul time.

Inhale, right nipple to right knee.
Exhale, center.
Inhale, left nipple to left knee.
Exhale, round the spine back.

Continue counterclockwise for 8 breaths, then switch directions.

(I say nipple because spiraling is a sensual act — we spiral when we make love to another, during birth, in dance, and while spinning.)

You can continue to move at the pace of your own breath, combining the first inhale/center and the exhale left and back to center.

Make it your own.

I encourage you to practice for at least 8 breaths (or longer), then come to stillness. Keep your eyes closed and continue feeling the momentum around you, even as your body comes to a stop.
