Google Workspace
Google Docs & Google Sheets
Google Keep
Google Calendar
There are a lot of powerful tools online that you can use for your business. My favorite is easily Google Workspace! It has so many things that you need in business, and it comes with a custom email for as little as $6 per month. We'll be using Google Drive for things throughout this course, as you'll see. It makes running a business easier and more organized. File sharing is one of the best features, but there are SO many. I'll list my favorites below.
Google’s answer to Microsoft Word and Excel. You can create, edit, and collaborate on documents and spreadsheets right in your browser with Docs and Sheets. You can also import and edit a variety of other files including Word, Excel, and PDFs.
Bonus: Any Docs or Sheets created directly in Google Workspace do not count towards your storage limits.
One of the most frequently used parts of Docs and Sheets is the real-time collaboration and unlimited versions. You can work on a document with your team and provide comments and chat in-document in real time while working together. Google also stores unlimited versions of your files, so you can always refer to a previous draft without saving a ton of versions.
A little-known and under-appreciated tool, Google Keep is Google’s answer to Evernote. It’s a great place to store common questions and answers from customers, create to-do lists, notes, set reminders, and more. It’s easy to collaborate on notes and share with the team, and because it lives in Google Workspace, it is accessible from anywhere on any device.
Goddess Status means having a schedule, being on time for calls, knowing your deadlines and important dates, and managing your time well. Google Calendar is the Google Workspace online calendar that integrates with Gmail to manage schedules, appointments, meetings, and tasks.
With a Google Workspace plan, you can enjoy smart scheduling (where you can see open windows of time on others’ calendars), calendars for Google Groups, calendars for meeting rooms and shared resources, public calendars so customers can view company events, and easy migration from external calendars (e.g., iCal, Outlook, or Exchange). It integrates with schedulers like Calendly and Zoom.
You can organize what days to work on what, which days to promote xyz, batch, write, create, CEO days, program days, masterclasses, days off, etc.
